Featured Apps on Learn OmniFocus: DEVONthink, Asana, and more…

Our Learn OmniFocus website is a membership-based service that centres around the OmniFocus personal task manager for Mac, iPhone, iPad, and the Web. In addition to providing instruction and best practices on using OmniFocus effectively, we often feature complementary productivity apps.

Using OmniFocus with <insert app here>

We recently started to offer sessions that focus on using OmniFocus + a specific app.

Since these sessions spotlight a specific app rather than a collection of apps, we’ll be able to take a deeper dive into the roles that each featured app can play alongside OmniFocus. We’ll also explore practical ways to integrate each app with OmniFocus for maximum convenience and efficiency.

Manifesting Ideas with OmniFocus + DEVONthink

Kourosh Dini kicked things off with a LIVE session on Manifesting Ideas with OmniFocus + DEVONthink. Kourosh Dini shared practical ways to use OmniFocus and DEVONthink together, drawing on the strengths of each app.

An edited recording of this session is now available free of charge.

Next Up: Asana

Our next featured app will be the award-winning project and task manager for teams, Asana.

I have a long history with Asana and it’s the app that we use to manage all of our collaborative projects at Technically Simple. This LIVE session is taking place on September 15 from 10 – 11 am Pacific Time and is currently open for registration.

Note that you’ll need to be a Learn OmniFocus Member to participate and to get access to the recording. Not a member yet? It only takes a moment to join. You’ll get instant access to our growing library of articles, videos, and courses and will be eligible to attend all of our Learn OmniFocus LIVE sessions, including the small-group (maximum ten people) Office Hours sessions.

More to Come

Other apps that we plan to feature include OmniPlan, Evernote, MindNode, Notion, and Trello.

Are there some other apps that you’d like us to add to the list? Drop us a line will your suggestions.
