I'm excited to announce that I'm partnering with Apple Solution Provider, Macfanatic to offer a workshop featuring one of the top productivity tools for Mac® and iOS® devices, OmniFocus. The inaugural workshop will be held on Wednesday, August 10 from 1-5pm at Macfanatic's training studio, located in the heart of Vancouver's historic Gastown area. The class size will be kept small so that participants will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions. I've shared the story of my introduction to GTD many times over the past couple of years and have come to realize that people are hungry for what GTD has to offer. For example, I was invited to speak at the Vancouver Business, Marketing, & Entrepreneur Meetup earlier this year and was pleasantly surprised when seventy curious and enthusiastic people showed up to hear what I had to say.
I find that people really resonate with GTD principles, but get stuck when it comes to implementing GTD in their lives. That is what prompted me to develop this workshop.
This workshop goes beyond concepts and is designed to teach participants how OmniFocus can be used to implement a GTD system out in the real world. The workshop covers the basic principles of GTD, which will be a review for some and new for others, and then delves into configuring and using OmniFocus in a way that reflects each participants' unique approach to, what David Allen calls, "the game of work and business of life". By the end of the workshop participants will have a thorough knowledge of everything that OmniFocus has to offer and strategy for using OmniFocus on their Mac and iOS devices.
