I discovered Zoom way back in 2013, long before most people had even heard of this service. It's been a transformational technology that has allowed me to work closely with people all over the world, both one-on-one and in groups.
Over the past year, I've had the honour of working with many organizations, large and small, as they made the transition to virtual events. These events have included everything from in-depth courses to large conferences. It's been very gratifying to help these organizations not only survive…but thrive in these challenging pandemic times.
I've taken what I've learned over the years and encapsulated it into a course called Hosting Engaging Events with Zoom Fundamentals.
This course has two distinct elements. The first section covers preparations that help ensure a successful event, including how to design an event for maximum engagement. The second section delves into the event itself and how to use Zoom's extensive feature set to create a virtual space that fosters learning and human connection.
There are currently two courses open for registration:
Option 1: March 23 / 2-4pm PDT
Option 2: April 7 / 9-11am PDT
Each course is $99 USD (plus taxes for folks in Canada). The course fee includes the two-hour course and course materials to help you prepare for and lead your own events. Courses are limited to 20 participants to allow for interactions and questions.
